What time can I check-in and check-out?

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Guests are more than welcome to come early and while an early check-in is possible, it can never be guaranteed.

Do I need a car in Telluride and where is parking?

Within the town of Telluride, there is no real need for a car. Almost everything is within 4 short blocks of the Victorian Inn. We have a very central location! You will also enjoy the free Gondola that connects Telluride and Mountain Village from 7am to midnight daily. The Galloping Goose, a free town loop shuttle bus, goes through Telluride several times a day. For those traveling with a car, the front desk staff at the Victorian Inn will explain where you can park during your stay. We will help you with the best available option at the time of your arrivalThe Victorian Inn is not liable for any towing or ticketing expenses. Please remember that parking in Telluride is limited, especially during the summer festivals and the winter season.

Are there non-skier activities?

If you are not a skier, there are many great Telluride activities for you to enjoy. Throughout Telluride, there are a number of day spas, nightly live shows, unique stores, and fabulous restaurants. Other exciting ways to get outdoors include snowmobiling, ice-skating, snow-shoeing, horseback rides, guided fishing, Nordic skiing and ice-climbing. There are some lively fishing spots for winter fly fishing nearby. Look into fishing on the San Miguel and Gunnison Rivers and, if interested, Telluride Outside can help you get started.

Are there children’s activities?

There are Telluride activities for children of all ages! Skiing and snowboarding are most popular in winter, as well as other activities like ice skating and snowshoeing. Children love sledding, and so will you with the many sledding hills in the area. Bring your sled (or rent one) to the Nordic Center and then head over to Firecracker Hill if you don’t know where to start. For those with a creative eye, there are classes offered at the Ah Haa School for the Arts. There are many activities to do in the summer as well. Telluride Town Park has a number of kids' activities during the summer months, such as the use of the new skate park, swimming pool and playground, kids' fishing pond, basketball courts, and more. Most festivals in Telluride also have a kids' tent and entrance to festivals for children 12 and under is typically free (when accompanied by an adult pass holder).

What is altitude of Telluride?

The elevation is 8,750 feet in the town of Telluride, while the elevation in nearby Mountain Village is 9,545 feet. The San Sophia Gondola Station and Allred's Restaurant are at 10,535 feet. The highest elevation that you can ski from lift access is 12,255 feet, which is up close to the Prospect Bowl. Since the addition of the hike-to-terrain at Palmyra Peak in 2008, you can ski almost 2,000 vertical feet from the top.

Is there a restaurant on-site?

There is no restaurant onsite, however, there are a variety of dining options within a short walk from the Inn. Complimentary continental breakfast is available in the lobby for our Inn guests. View our interactive map for a list of restaurants in the area.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

The Inn’s rooms do not have air conditioning, but do have heating and table fans. Summers in Telluride are generally mild and very pleasant. Our units also have fans. The Cozy Cottage and The Telluride House are the only two units with air conditioning.

Are you pet friendly?

As much as we love animals, we are not pet friendly and kindly ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home.
